Placements24 is seeking a Remote Retail Operations Specialist to join their team, supporting Soweto and surrounding areas from a fully remote hub. The role focuses on back-office retail operations, inventory control, and virtual store support, requiring excellent organization and self-motivation.

You will coordinate tasks, train staff remotely, analyze data, and collaborate with logistics, IT, and HR to keep processes running smoothly.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in retail operations or related support roles.
Strong understanding of retail back-office processes and inventory basics.
Excellent written and verbal communication for virtual collaboration.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate operational tasks and projects remotely to support store functions.
Provide virtual support to store teams on operations, inventory, and procedures.
Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvements.
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, IT, HR) for smooth operations.
Maintain accurate operational records using digital platforms.
Support inventory management, stock level monitoring, and reconciliation.
Facilitate virtual training for new procedures or tools.
Handle administrative tasks such as report generation and data entry.
Contribute to continuous improvement of remote processes and workflows.
