Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Retail Operations Coordinator to streamline the nationwide retail network from a central, remote capacity. You will coordinate daily operations, optimize policies, manage inventory, and support store teams with timely guidance and solutions.

The role emphasizes project management, data analysis, and proactive problem-solving while maintaining health and safety protocols across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations, logistics, or related field with coordinating/management.
• Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain.
• Excellent organizational and time management in remote setting.
• Proficiency with operational software and office apps.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and autonomous; remote-work experience desirable.
• Based in South Africa with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily retail operations remotely across multiple store locations.
• Develop and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Support store teams with operational challenges, providing timely guidance and solutions.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including stock level monitoring and reconciliation.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for operational supplies.
• Assist in the rollout of new operational initiatives and technologies.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare operational reports and present findings to management.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security protocols across all retail sites.
• Facilitate communication between head office departments and store operations.
