Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Retail Inventory Specialist to optimize inventory across operations. You will monitor stock, forecast demand, and analyze data to prevent stockouts and overstock while working remotely.

Collaborating with procurement, sales and warehousing, you’ll maintain data integrity, generate reports, and drive cost efficiencies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all locations using inventory management software.
• Analyze sales data and historical trends to forecast future inventory needs.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and records.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory carrying costs and improve stock turnover.
• Coordinate with supply chain partners and internal teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status, aging, and valuation.
