Placements24 is seeking a Remote Retail Merchandising Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will analyze sales data, market trends and customer behavior to optimize product assortments and inventory, collaborating with merchandising, marketing, and operations to drive profitable decisions.

You will develop forecasts, build dashboards, and communicate insights to stakeholders to support data-driven merchandising strategies while enjoying flexible remote work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Merchandising/Data Analyst in retail.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI).
• Understanding of retail math, inventory management, and merchandising principles.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer purchasing patterns to identify opportunities and risks.
• Forecast product demand and inventory needs to optimize stock and minimize markdowns.
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
