About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimize stock levels within their retail operations. This hybrid role involves both on-site work for physical inventory checks and remote analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory data, minimizing discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve stock management efficiency. Your work will directly impact profitability and customer satisfaction by ensuring product availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with purchasing to ensure adequate stock.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and systems.
• Track the movement of goods, including receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping.
• Generate reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and shrinkage to management.
