Placements24 is seeking a proactive Project Developer in renewable energy for a fully remote role within South Africa, based in Upington. You will identify and evaluate opportunities, secure land rights, and lead PPA negotiations, coordinating with engineering, legal, and financial teams to bring projects to financial close.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in renewables, strong stakeholder skills, and strategic, entrepreneurial drive to grow the project pipeline and contribute to SA’s clean

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance required.
• 6+ years in renewable energy project development with a track record.
• Strong knowledge of SA renewable energy market and regulatory framework.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and evaluate solar, wind and other RE opportunities.
• Secure land rights and engage stakeholders for approvals.
• Lead PPA negotiations and project contracting.
• Coordinate with engineering, legal and finance teams.
• Develop budgets and financial models; monitor milestones.
