Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Compliance Specialist to join its distributed legal and compliance team. The role focuses on monitoring regulatory changes, developing compliance strategies, and ensuring obligations across South Africa are met from a remote home office.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, at least 5 years in regulatory compliance, strong analytical skills, and proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or related legal field.
• Strong understanding of South African legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret changes in legislation and regulations affecting the business.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and assessments to identify risks.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements.
