Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Quality Control Technician to support a distributed team from Cape Town. You will perform remote inspections against specifications, document findings, and collaborate with on-site engineers to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Quality Control role within manufacturing.
• Ability to perform detailed inspections and interpret specifications/drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration using digital tools.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote inspections and analyses of components and finished goods against quality standards.
• Document inspection results and flag non-conformities.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of QC activities and test results using digital tools.
• Contribute to development and refinement of QC procedures and testing protocols.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
