Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly detail-oriented Remote Quality Control Analyst to contribute to its robust manufacturing QA framework. You will analyze product data, ensure compliance with standards, and identify areas for quality improvement, all from a remote location.

You will collaborate virtually with production and engineering teams to uphold quality benchmarks, supporting operations across sites including Randburg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Statistics, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, preferably in a manufacturing context.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data and quality reports to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and documentation.
• Conduct virtual audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor key quality metrics and provide regular reports to management on product quality performance and initiatives.
