Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to spearhead quality initiatives across manufacturing sites in a fully remote role. You will develop and implement QA strategies, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

Lead a remote team of QA specialists, oversee QC procedures, and partner with production, engineering, and R&D to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 7+ years in Quality Assurance with at least 3 years in a leadership role within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience with remote team management and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive QA programs for manufacturing operations.
• Oversee design and execution of quality control procedures, testing protocols, and inspection processes.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of QA specialists and technicians.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement CAPA.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.
