Placements24 is seeking a Remote Quality Systems Specialist to design, implement, and maintain robust QMS across operations from anywhere in South Africa. The role emphasizes compliance with ISO 9001 and related regulations, with a focus on continuous improvement and employee training.

The successful candidate will lead audits, manage documentation, and collaborate cross-functionally to embed quality into product development and manufacturing processes, all within a distributed work setup.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in quality assurance and QMS development.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry-specific regulations.
• Proven ability to manage quality systems remotely.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Strong proficiency in QMS software and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO 9001 and other standards.
• Oversee internal and external quality audits and drive improvements.
• Deliver training on quality standards and SOPs to remote teams.
• Manage quality documentation including SOPs and records.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes of non-conformance.
