Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Midrand. The role focuses on ensuring products meet GMP standards, maintaining QMS, and supporting regulatory compliance to safeguard patient safety and the company’s reputation.

You will audit across manufacturing, review batch records, CAPA, and mentor teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, strong GMP knowledge, 5+ years in QA, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related life science field.
• Master's degree is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance in pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QA policies across pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Conduct internal GMP audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols and change controls.
• Investigate deviations, non-conformances and customer complaints; implement CAPA.
• Provide training on quality standards, GMP and SOPs.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
