Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Quality Assurance Specialist to join our distributed team supporting manufacturing operations from anywhere in South Africa. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing context.
• Proficiency in developing and executing testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for new and existing products.
• Conduct thorough analysis of test results and document defects with clear, concise reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and identify quality issues early in the development cycle.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for quality improvement.
• Maintain and update quality assurance documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis for product defects and recommend corrective actions.
