Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Project Engineer specializing in Chemical Processes to join their fully remote team. This role focuses on managing capital projects from conception through to completion, delivering on time and within budget while meeting technical specs.

You will coordinate with stakeholders across departments and locations, drive safety and regulatory compliance, and provide technical guidance throughout all project phases in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in project engineering or project management, preferably in chemical industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing capital projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of chemical process design, equipment, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management for effective remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of capital projects, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop project specifications, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
• Oversee project budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project phases.
