Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Production Systems Analyst to analyze production data and drive improvements for clients worldwide. You will develop dashboards, identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with virtual teams to implement data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in production analysis, industrial engineering, or a similar data-centric role.
Proficiency in data analysis software and tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, or similar.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration.
Experience with statistical modeling and forecasting techniques is a plus.
Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home office setup.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret production data from various manufacturing systems and sources.
Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key production metrics and trends for clients and internal teams.
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement within production workflows.
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and propose data-backed solutions.
Collaborate virtually with client teams to understand their production challenges and goals.
Recommend and help implement changes to production processes, systems, and technologies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in production analysis and manufacturing optimization.
Assist in the development and implementation of new analytical tools and methodologies.
Provide training and support to clients on data utilization and system understanding.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reports.
