Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Production Efficiency Analyst to analyze production data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven strategies. The role offers remote work with occasional travel to Centurion, Gauteng, to engage with on-site operations.

The ideal candidate will have a quantitative degree and 3+ years in production or data analysis, with strong Excel, SQL, and BI tool experience (Tableau/Power BI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in production analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel (Advanced), SQL, and statistical packages (R, Python, SPSS).
• Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze production data from various sources.
• Identify trends, patterns, and deviations in production performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports visualizing KPIs.
• Interpret data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and suggest corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production managers and engineering teams to understand challenges.
• Conduct statistical analysis to forecast production needs and optimize resources.
