Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly organized Remote Procurement Specialist to join their procurement team. This fully remote role enables you to contribute from anywhere within South Africa while managing purchasing across multiple categories.

You will source suppliers, conduct RFQs/RFPs, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with budgets. Strong communication and digital collaboration skills are essential to support internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Understanding of procurement procedures, best practices, and contract management.
• Ability to work remotely and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories.
• Source suppliers, conduct RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals for best value.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Maintain records of procurement activities, POs, and contracts.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance; adjust sourcing as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and provide support.
