Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Chemical Process Safety Engineer to ensure the highest safety standards across operations. You will develop, implement, and manage process safety management (PSM) programs, conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, and guide regulatory compliance from a remote location.

Responsibilities include PHAs (HAZOP/LOPA/FMEA), incident investigation, PSI and MOC upkeep, training, and ensuring compliance with national and international safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related safety field.
• 5+ years of chemical process safety engineering experience.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements and CCPS guidelines.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and hazard studies.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret safety data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Process Safety Management systems and procedures.
• Conduct PHAs including HAZOP, LOPA, and FMEA studies.
• Investigate process safety incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with national and international process safety regulations.
• Develop and deliver process safety training programs for sites and engineers.
• Maintain PSI and MOC processes.
