Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Operations Process Engineer to drive efficiency improvements across industrial facilities from a distance. You will analyze and optimize processes, create detailed maps and simulations, and collaborate with on-site teams to achieve operational excellence without being physically located in Soweto.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in process engineering, and strong lean, SPC, and RCA skills.

Formación

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering with a track record in operational improvement.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles, statistical process control, and root cause analysis.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and virtual collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct remote assessments of existing processes, identifying efficiency and cost-improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic process improvement plans using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Create process maps, simulations, and documentation to guide on-site implementation.
• Lead virtual collaboration sessions with production staff, management, and stakeholders for alignment and adoption.
• Monitor KPIs to track impact of changes and identify further improvement opportunities.
• Research and recommend new technologies to enhance remote operational performance.
