Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead our remote engineering team. You will tackle the most complex design challenges, define technical strategies, mentor junior engineers, and ensure top-tier performance across critical programs.

You will drive innovation through advanced simulations (FEA, CFD), architecture roadmaps, and collaboration with senior management and cross-functional partners, while enjoying complete autonomy in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience.
Experience leading major engineering initiatives and solving highly complex problems.
Expertise in thermodynamics, dynamics, and materials science.
Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and analytical methodologies.
Leadership and communication skills for a remote setting.

Responsibilities

Provide expert technical guidance and leadership on highly complex mechanical engineering projects.
Develop innovative design solutions and advanced mechanical concepts.
Conduct in-depth analysis, simulations (FEA, CFD), and performance validation.
Define technical roadmaps and architecture for mechanical systems.
