The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) with 6+ years of experience and proficiency in PSS/E, ETAP, and PSCAD. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power Systems focus is required
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in power system analysis, design or operations
• Proficiency with power system simulation software: PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD
• Strong understanding of power system stability, protection and control principles
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work remotely

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis and modeling of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems using specialized software
• Design and optimize power system configurations for reliability, efficiency, and standards compliance
• Develop strategies for integrating renewable energy sources into existing grid infrastructure
• Conduct load flow studies, short-circuit analysis, and stability studies to assess performance
• Prepare technical reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to stakeholders
• Stay current with advancements in power system technology, grid modernization, and regulatory changes
