Job summary

Placements24 invites applications for a Remote Senior Power Systems Analyst for a leading international energy consultancy. You will conduct complex power system studies, assess grid stability, and advise clients on integrating renewables and energy storage.

You will develop models in PSS/E and similar tools, analyze large datasets, produce reports, mentor junior staff, and stay current with global grid standards. This remote-first role offers flexibility and global project exposure.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems focus.
• 8+ years of experience in power system analysis and grid integration.
• Proficiency with PSS/E, PowerFactory DIgSILENT, PSLF or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of power system dynamics, protection, and controls.
• Experience with renewable energy integration is essential.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed power system studies: transient stability, fault analysis, load flow, contingencies.
• Assess impacts of solar, wind, and storage on grid performance.
• Develop and validate models using industry-standard software.
• Analyze grid data and recommend operational improvements.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and present findings to clients.
