Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an expert Electrical Systems Analyst for a fully remote role focused on grid modernization. You will analyze grid data, build models, and provide insights to drive resilient energy infrastructure.

Collaboration with engineers and stakeholders across locations will be essential. The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, fluency in simulation tools, and experience with renewable integration and smart grids.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical grid analysis, power system modeling, and simulation.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data analysis.
• Experience with renewable integration and smart grid concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of electrical grid performance, stability, and reliability using advanced modeling techniques.
• Develop and maintain detailed power system models for simulation and forecasting purposes.
• Evaluate the impact of renewable energy, energy storage, and smart grid devices on operations.
• Identify grid vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
• Analyze large datasets to extract trends and insights related to grid performance.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and clients.
