Job summary

Remote Recruitment seeks an Onboarding Coordinator to manage the new starter journey for a UK-based employer, operating fully remotely from South Africa. You will issue offers, manage documentation, checks, payroll setup and induction logistics, ensuring a smooth first week.

Work UK hours from home as part of a SA team placed with UK employers. Strong English communication and HRIS experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with onboarding, HR administration or recruitment coordination.
• Familiarity with an HRIS such as BambooHR, HiBob or Workable.
• Confident handling confidential employee data correctly.
• Strong follow-up discipline across many simultaneous starters.
• Clear, warm written English for candidate communication.

Responsibilities

• Issue offer letters, contracts and new starter documentation.
• Run right to work and reference checks and track completion.
• Set up new starters on the HR system and payroll.
• Coordinate induction schedules with hiring managers and IT.
• Chase outstanding paperwork before day one.
• Report on onboarding progress and time-to-start.
