Placements24 represents a prominent national foundation focused on economic empowerment and seeks a meticulous Financial Analyst to join their remote team. You will analyze financial data, prepare reports, and support budgeting, forecasting, and donor reporting in a nonprofit setting.

You will collaborate with program managers and leadership, develop financial models, monitor grants, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the organization’s financial health from your home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CFA/CPA a plus.
• 4+ years in financial analysis, budgeting or accounting, nonprofit preferred.
• Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge and nonprofit fund accounting.
• Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools.

Responsabilités

• Perform variance, trend analysis and forecasting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop and manage organizational budgets with department heads.
• Monitor grant expenditures and ensure donor compliance.
• Identify risks and opportunities; propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare financial statements and audit schedules.
• Build and refine financial models for planning.
• Provide financial guidance to program teams for resource use.
• Maintain accurate records; adhere to accounting standards.
• Stay updated on nonprofit accounting standards and best practices.
