Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote NLP Engineer to join their advanced AI development team. You will design, build, and deploy state‑of‑the‑art NLP models and applications that understand and generate human language in a remote‑first environment.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers on sentiment analysis, text summarization, and conversational AI, delivering NLP‑powered features and integrating models via APIs across platforms.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience specifically in Natural Language Processing engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for NLP tasks.
• Strong understanding of linguistic principles and text data structures.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement NLP models for tasks such as text classification, entity recognition, and question answering.
• Build and optimize natural language understanding (NLU) and natural language generation (NLG) systems.
• Process and analyze large volumes of text data, applying techniques like tokenization, stemming, and lemmatization.
• Integrate NLP models into existing applications and platforms via APIs.
• Conduct research on state-of-the‑art NLP techniques and architectures (e.g., Transformers, BERT).
• Collaborate with product teams to define and deliver NLP‑powered features.
