Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Data Scientist specializing in NLP to join our globally distributed team. You will develop and deploy advanced NLP models to extract insights from unstructured text data and integrate them into cutting-edge products.

You will work independently from a home office, collaborating with cross-functional teams through digital channels, and contribute to groundbreaking AI research while delivering data-driven solutions remotely.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science with a focus on NLP.
• Expertise with NLP libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in Python with Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
• Strong ML fundamentals and deep learning for text with remote, asynchronous collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy NLP models for text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and question answering.
• Design data pipelines for processing and analyzing large volumes of text data.
• Research state-of-the-art NLP techniques and apply them to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate NLP capabilities into existing and new products.
• Evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest research in NLP and artificial intelligence.
