Placements24 is seeking a Senior NLP Engineer to join a fully remote, globally distributed team focused on AI and emerging technologies. You will design, build, and deploy advanced NLP models handling large text datasets and contribute to research advancing language understanding.

The role requires 5+ years in NLP, strong Python skills, and experience with TF/PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers. You will collaborate with researchers and product teams to deliver scalable, high-accuracy NLP

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in NLP development.
• Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large text datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement NLP models for text classification, sentiment analysis, and NER.
• Process and analyze large volumes of unstructured text data.
• Fine-tune pre-trained language models for downstream tasks.
• Collaborate with product managers and researchers to define NLP requirements.
• Ensure scalability, efficiency, and accuracy of deployed NLP systems.
