Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a specialized AI/ML Engineer (NLP) to join a fully remote, high-performing team. You will design, develop, and deploy NLP models that enable machines to understand, interpret, and generate human language across products.

The role involves working with large text datasets, building state-of-the-art language models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP capabilities into product features. A strong academic background and 3+ years in NLP are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS/Computational Linguistics or related field.
• 3+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with a focus on NLP.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers).
• Proficient with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for NLP tasks.
• Experience preprocessing text data and handling large corpora.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement NLP models for text classification, sentiment analysis, translation, and QA.
• Utilize deep learning frameworks to build/finetune state-of-the-art language models (Transformers, BERT).
• Process and analyze large volumes of text data for model training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP solutions into products.
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve NLP systems.
• Stay updated with NLP research and advancements.
