Placements24 is seeking a Remote Network and Systems Administrator to manage and maintain a scalable IT infrastructure. You will ensure stability, security, and performance across networks and server environments in a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, Windows/Linux servers, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Strong cybersecurity knowledge and independent work capability are essential.

Formación

• Ideal: Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field
• Minimum 5 years in network administration and systems management
• Experience with TCP/IP networks, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls
• Server OS experience (Windows Server, Linux)
• Proficiency with virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Remote work capability and self-motivation

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, servers).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity for optimal uptime.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect systems.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, including patching and tuning.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Provide remote end-user support for IT issues.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and backups.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers.
• Ensure data protection regulations and company policies are followed.
