Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our client’s global operations. This role focuses on maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting servers, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity measures from a fully remote setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and solid cybersecurity expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of IT infrastructure support and administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in cybersecurity principles and tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and remote collaboration skills.
• Relevant IT certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage server infrastructure with high availability.
• Administer and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Provide support for cloud services and ensure reliable operation.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures.
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests promptly.
• Develop and maintain IT system documentation.
• Perform backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on IT projects.
• Stay current with emerging IT technologies.
