Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Network Administrator to manage and secure our IT infrastructure from anywhere. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices, implementing security measures, and supporting end-users to maintain robust connectivity.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in network administration, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and cloud networking concepts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and security principles.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and diagnostics.
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, APs).
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize reliability.
• Implement and manage network security measures (VPNs, IDS/IPS, access controls).
• Respond to incidents and service requests promptly.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Conduct regular network audits and ensure policy compliance.
