Placements24 is seeking a Remote Network Installation Specialist to join a fully remote team supporting clients initially around Polokwane. You will guide clients through installing network hardware, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure security and performance standards are met.

Responsibilities include documenting configurations, providing remote end-user support, and staying current with networking technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Specialist, Network Administrator, or similar role with installation and support focus.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network protocols.
• Proficiency with network diagnostic tools and network management software.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Ubiquiti, or similar equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for remote assistance.
