Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Network Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain a robust global network for a fully remote team. You will work from a home office and collaborate with distributed engineering teams to support critical business operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in network administration and infrastructure management, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), and solid security practices to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of experience in network administration and infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and other networking protocols.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and reliability.
Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against threats and ensure data integrity.
Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues across the organization.
Develop and document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Stay current with emerging network technologies and propose improvements to our infrastructure.
