Job summary

ReWorks Solutions, based in South Africa, is seeking a driven Medical Billing Specialist to own and optimize the billing function. You will manage day-to-day billing activities, review claims, and maintain accurate records while working remotely from US hours (9am-5pm EST).

The ideal candidate has medical billing experience, preferably in ABA billing, and combines attention to detail with proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Medical billing experience required or strongly preferred.
• ABA billing experience is a strong advantage but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day medical billing activities accurately and efficiently.
• Review billing information and ensure claims and documentation are complete and accurate.
• Process and maintain billing records in accordance with client requirements.
• Monitor outstanding billing items and follow up where necessary.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Communicate clearly with relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding billing matters.
• Learn and effectively use the client's billing systems and processes.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and ensure tasks are completed within required deadlines.
• Continuously look for ways to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and processes.
