• Experience designing for harsh environments and robustness.

• Excellent communication and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for agricultural machinery.
• Perform stress, thermal, and fatigue analyses to ensure design integrity.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with software, electrical engineers, and agronomists in a virtual setting.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes considering durability and cost.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and industry requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during development, manufacturing, or field deployment.
• Stay informed on agricultural tech advancements and best practices.
