Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of mechanical design experience, with focus on agricultural machinery or heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation).
• Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission and structural mechanics.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters, planters, implements).
• Create 3D CAD models, 2D drawings and technical specs for new designs.
• Perform stress, vibration and fatigue analysis using FEA tools.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes for durability and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee prototyping and testing, implement modifications based on results.
• Troubleshoot design issues and provide technical support for existing products.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Research and propose innovations to improve performance and sustainability.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation.
