The ideal candidate has a MSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in product development, strong CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and FEA skills, and proven remote collaboration and project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, focusing on mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles.
• Demonstrated success in bringing new products to market.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of new mechanical products from idea to market launch.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and technical specifications for components and assemblies.
• Conduct FEA and performance simulations to validate designs and optimize for manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables in a remote setting, ensuring timely completion.
• Collaborate effectively with remote R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales teams.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation processes, analyzing results and iterating on designs.
