Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of technical training to technicians improve technician competency and dealer competency to have capability for FIRFT "Fix It Right First Time" and reduce VOR (Vehicle Off Road) time. Also support market activities to build Customer truth & Customer Satisfaction.
• Delivery technical training
• Delivery of technical training on curriculum training, new model training, and performance improvement training to technicians across dealership networks in the market.
• Review technical training materials and market relevant adjustments that retain high quality of technical training such as curriculum, new model training and market special courses to improve FIRFT in market.
• Training material translation review, feedback, and rectification (local language and content).
• Develop special training courses such as FIRFT based on market requirement.
• Arrange and Ensure training material readiness for training such as below:
• Power Point / Presentation materials
• Student information
• Practical activity worksheets
• Assessment questions and answer documents
• Prepare training room and working bay readiness before conducting classroom training, including teaching aids, tools, equipment, and training vehicles, including admin tasks.
• Provide in-depth instructions to technicians on Ford vehicle systems, components, and technologies, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering by following the IMG curriculum.
• Conduct hands‑on demonstrations and practical exercises to reinforce technicians to apply their knowledge in Ford vehicles for FIRFT.
• Delivering and ensuring that training programs comply with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
• Ensuring the maintenance of the training facility, tools & equipment for readiness and safety, including conducting Training Facility Safety audit.
• Update training attendance & student completion details to ensure the training history data and learner records in STARS are up-to-date and accurate.
• Improve trainer skill & knowledge via eLearning, TTT (Trainer the Trainer) or practical activities.
• Support to improve class fill rate via follow up with dealers/ technicians and guide them on their certification paths or learning steps that need to be completed for the certification of their technicians.
• Support market activities
• Conduct technician skill contest in market such as design activities for contestants and their evaluation, etc.
• Support market activities such as Reward and Recognition program, School to Work program (Apprentice program), and Bridge program for technician from other OEMs.
• Support market SEO lead for ad-hoc assigned tasks and report to the training lead (supervisor).
• Technical Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or automotive engineering, or
• Trade Certificate (Auto Industry Designated Trade) + N4, or
• Trade Certificate (Auto Industry Designated Trade) + N3, with Ford Technical Training Level 1 Qualification
• Extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a strong background in technical training, service in automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Good familiarity with automotive technical training processes
• Good knowledge of Vehicle diagnostic methods and practices
• Computer literate and competent with the basic Microsoft office suite
• Must be able to work under pressure and deal with dynamic expectations with the role
• Must be able to work in a diverse team and integrate with the values expected by the company

Application Engineering Support

• Swift response to technical queries from customers. Work closely with distributors, contractors and OEMs to provide suitable solutions for their project requirements. Assist customers in using product selection software.
• Assist customers in using heat load calculation software.
• Assist customers in refrigerant line components selection, selection of suitable electrical switch gears, refrigerant line sizing etc.,
• Maintain a technical library, support the creation of catalogs, application engineering bulletins, and user manuals. Develop cross reference documents with competition. Alternate Refrigerant engagement with customers. Explore new applications in the region. Support semi hermetic compressor to scroll transition.
• Lead NBO for refrigeration products in MEA working together with the Sales organization.

Technical Training

• Develop and manage a training calendar and create technical training materials.
• Deliver training sessions include hands‑on training on controllers and protections used in condensing units and compressors.
• Coordinate the tools and resources needed for the training center.

Quality & Warranty Management

• Manage warranty claims and provide troubleshooting support for both production and field failures.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) through data logging, field visits, and compressor teardown analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants, providing feedback to improve product performance.
• Analyze and maintain warranty data to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in HVACR design, projects, service, technical support, or training within the HVACR industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, Refrigeration Systems and controls.
• Technical expertise in troubleshooting and application support.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across multicultural teams.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and technical software tools.
