Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst to advance manufacturing operations from a fully remote setting. The role focuses on data analysis, MES/ERP implementation, and system optimization to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across Stellenbosch-based operations and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing systems analysis, implementation, or support.
• Proven experience with MES, ERP systems (e.g., SAP ME, Oracle Manufacturing), and SCADA systems.

Responsabilités

• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate, implement, and maintain MES and ERP systems.
• Develop and document system requirements, workflows, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and engineering teams for seamless integration.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on manufacturing systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot system issues, proposing and implementing solutions.
• Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
• Develop and generate reports on key manufacturing metrics and system utilization.
• Stay abreast of emerging manufacturing technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing.
