Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Manufacturing Systems Analyst to evaluate, design, and improve MES and ERP processes from a fully remote setting. You will translate stakeholder needs into functional specifications, analyze data, and support deployment and testing of new systems to boost efficiency.

In this role you will collaborate with IT and operations, develop documentation, and provide remote user support while advancing long-term manufacturing system strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in analyzing and improving manufacturing systems, with a strong focus on MES and ERP systems.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, system design, and implementation support.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and workflows.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications for system improvements.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new manufacturing technologies and software solutions.
• Support the implementation, testing, and deployment of new systems and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals and process flows.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, providing remote support to end-users.
• Utilize data analytics tools to generate reports and provide insights into production performance.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure system integration and data integrity.
• Contribute to the development of long-term manufacturing system strategies.
