Placements24 is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer for a fully remote position guiding global manufacturing initiatives. You will design and optimize processes across facilities, leading lean and Six Sigma projects and mentoring junior engineers from a virtual setting.

The role requires strong data analytics, process modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency, quality, and cost across international operations, with flexible hours and remote work advantages.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing process engineering with a focus on optimization.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma proficiency; remote project leadership preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to collaborate virtually.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Lead process improvement projects using lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and root causes of issues.
• Develop and implement robust process controls and quality assurance measures.
• Collaborate virtually with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure process integration.
• Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions; mentor junior engineers remotely.
