Placements24 is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our remote finance team. You will develop budgets, prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions.

The role requires strong FP&A and ERP proficiency, advanced Excel skills, and at least four years in management accounting. A remote work setup with flexible hours is offered, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
A professional qualification such as CIMA or ACCA is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
Strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in FP&A software and ERP systems is expected.
Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and data visualization are essential.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts.
Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
Analyze financial performance against budget and prior periods to identify trends.
Develop and implement financial models and reporting tools.
Provide financial support for strategic projects and initiatives.
Monitor KPIs and report to senior management.
Improve financial processes and systems for efficiency.
Ensure data integrity for management reporting.
