Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Management Accountant to enhance financial reporting and strategic budgeting across operations in South Africa. You will prepare management accounts, run variance analyses, and drive forecasting in a fully remote setup.

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 4–6 years in management accounting, strong Excel, ERP familiarity, and excellent communication for remote collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and analyze management accounts, including variance analysis, and provide insights into performance drivers.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts with department heads.
• Assist in preparation of financial reports for senior management highlighting key trends and metrics.
• Conduct profitability analysis and costing to support pricing decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models for planning and scenario analysis.
• Implement and improve financial systems and processes for reporting efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates to management.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in the finance function, especially in reporting and analysis.
