Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Logistics Network Analyst to optimize a global, fully remote logistics network. The role focuses on data modeling, simulation, and strategic planning to cut costs and improve transport, warehousing, and distribution efficiency.

You'll work with cross-functional teams worldwide, analyze complex datasets, identify bottlenecks, and present actionable recommendations to senior management. Remote collaboration and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in logistics analysis, supply chain planning, or network design.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with data modeling and statistics.
• Experience with TMS, WMS, and data visualization tools; remote-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities across the entire network.
• Develop and utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to test network design scenarios.
• Recommend optimal routing, carrier selection, and warehousing strategies to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and IT teams to implement network enhancements and track their impact.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting logistics networks.
