Placements24 is seeking a strategic Logistics Network Planner to design, optimize, and manage a global logistics network from a fully remote position. The role focuses on advanced analytics, scenario modeling, and data-driven decisions to improve costs, service levels, and lead times.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s in a related field and have 7+ years of experience in logistics network design, with proficiency in Llamasoft or AnyLogistix and SQL/Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and optimize the company's global logistics network, including warehouse locations, transportation routes, and inventory deployment strategies.
• Utilize network modeling software and analytical tools to simulate different scenarios and assess their impact on costs, service levels, and lead times.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather data and validate network assumptions.
• Develop business cases and recommendations for network changes, presenting findings to senior management.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.
• Monitor the performance of the existing network and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
