Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Remote Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst to join a globally distributed team. Analyze data to identify bottlenecks, optimize inventory, reduce transport costs, and improve supply chain performance.

You'll develop dashboards, run cost analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement improvements. This remote role rewards analytical thinking and independent time management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, or operations research.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with supply chain modeling or simulation software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings clearly.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and supply chain operations.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain changes and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement process improvements and operational changes.
• Research and recommend new technologies or strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and visibility.
• Support the development and execution of inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs across various distribution points.
