Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in Lean and Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement for diverse clients. You will diagnose issues, design strategies, and guide implementation, working closely with client teams from a remote setting.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of Lean Six Sigma experience, a Black Belt, and a Master Black Belt preferred, with strong data analytics and project leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma is mandatory; Master Black Belt preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience implementing Lean and Six Sigma projects with measurable results.
• Experience with data analysis, statistical software (Minitab, JMP), and process modeling.
• Strong project management, facilitation, and change management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work remotely with clients and teams.
• Experience across manufacturing, healthcare, and services advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects across industries to achieve efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
• Assess client operations to identify waste, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop project plans, scopes, and KPIs for improvement initiatives.
• Apply DMAIC and DMADV methodologies effectively.
• Use statistical tools for data analysis and solution validation.
• Design and deliver Lean/Six Sigma training to client personnel.
• Coach client teams and internal resources to build continuous improvement capabilities.
• Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for client management.
• Stay updated on Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence trends.
