Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Remote Industrial Engineer with deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. This fully remote role empowers you to lead improvement initiatives across diverse units, analyze processes, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions from anywhere.

You will apply Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke) and Six Sigma methods (DMAIC/DMADV) to reduce waste, improve quality, and drive KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial engineering experience with Lean/Six Sigma.
• Black Belt or Master Black Belt in Six Sigma required.
• Proficiency in Minitab and JMP for statistical analysis.
• Experience with process mapping and modeling tools.
• Excellent facilitation and change management skills for remote work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects across units.
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and waste.
• Apply Lean tools: Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke.
• Use DMAIC/DMADV to solve complex problems.
• Develop SPC measures to ensure quality and consistency.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams via virtual platforms.
• Develop and deliver Lean/Six Sigma training.
• Monitor progress and report on KPIs.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement.
