Placements24 is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the development of Energy Management Systems (EMS). This fully remote role offers responsibility for architecture, mentoring a distributed team, and delivering scalable, secure software for commercial and industrial energy optimization.

You will drive design, testing, CI/CD, and deployment strategies while collaborating with product, design, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of scalable, high-performance Energy Management Systems using modern software engineering practices.
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the implementation of robust testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for all software releases.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant software solutions.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and maintainability of the software platform, addressing technical debt proactively.
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap for the EMS product, identifying new features and technological advancements in the energy technology space.
